# Write.r vs NearbiDoc

The clearest difference is update cadence: NearbiDoc at weekly against Write.r's every 5 weeks. NearbiDoc also leads on device support. Write.r's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Write.r sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NearbiDoc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
