# Full Deck Solitaire vs ⋆FreeCell

Full Deck Solitaire and ⋆FreeCell both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 68% of Full Deck Solitaire's written reviews are positive against 50% of ⋆FreeCell's. Full Deck Solitaire also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 weeks). ⋆FreeCell's advantage is ratings volume (134K vs 23K) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Full Deck Solitaire sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and ⋆FreeCell sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Full Deck Solitaire against 4.7 for ⋆FreeCell. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ⋆FreeCell has 134K ratings behind it against 23K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of Full Deck Solitaire's written reviews are positive against 50% of ⋆FreeCell's.

Full Deck Solitaire ships an update every 9 days, ⋆FreeCell every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
