# SmallTask vs Будильник

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SmallTask at none against Будильник's 6. SmallTask also leads on ratings volume (57 vs 1) and review sentiment (88% vs 80%). Будильник's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and price ($0.99 vs $1.99). On update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

SmallTask costs $1.99 and Будильник $0.99 up front. Будильник sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. SmallTask asks for nothing beyond the download.

Будильник holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmallTask has 57 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of SmallTask's written reviews are positive against 80% of Будильник's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmallTask ships an update every 6 months, Будильник every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
