# McDonald's Japan vs YoiLog

The clearest difference is review sentiment: YoiLog at 100% against McDonald's Japan's 29%. YoiLog also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). McDonald's Japan's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YoiLog sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. McDonald's Japan asks for nothing beyond the download.

McDonald's Japan holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: McDonald's Japan has 162 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of McDonald's Japan's written reviews are positive against 100% of YoiLog's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

McDonald's Japan ships an update monthly, YoiLog every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
