# Large Maps vs Coordinate Converter

The clearest difference is price: Coordinate Converter at Free against Large Maps's $7.99. Coordinate Converter also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and ratings volume (20 vs 1). Large Maps's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Coordinate Converter is free to download; Large Maps costs $7.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Large Maps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coordinate Converter has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Large Maps's written reviews are positive against 100% of Coordinate Converter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Large Maps ships an update every 5 weeks, Coordinate Converter monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
