# Pastel vs Vip Proxy Server

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Vip Proxy Server at none against Pastel's 3. Vip Proxy Server also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and chart position (#168 vs unranked). Pastel's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pastel sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Vip Proxy Server asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pastel holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pastel has 1.4K ratings behind it against 117, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Pastel's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vip Proxy Server's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
