# iZip vs EagleView

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EagleView at none against iZip's 1. EagleView also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). iZip's advantage is ratings volume (63K vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iZip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. EagleView asks for nothing beyond the download.

EagleView holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iZip has 63K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iZip ships an update every 6 weeks, EagleView every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
