# Cuckoo vs Bichikun

The clearest difference is ads: Bichikun at none against Cuckoo's shown. Bichikun also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cuckoo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bichikun sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cuckoo ships an update every 3 months, Bichikun every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
