# Math Quiz vs DragonPals

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Math Quiz at 100% against DragonPals's 10%. Math Quiz also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10). DragonPals's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 12 months). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

DragonPals is free to download; Math Quiz costs $0.99 up front. DragonPals sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Math Quiz asks for nothing beyond the download.

DragonPals holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DragonPals has 3.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Math Quiz's written reviews are positive against 10% of DragonPals's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Math Quiz ships an update every 12 months, DragonPals fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
