# AJC News vs NY Thread

The clearest difference is rating: NY Thread at 5.0 against AJC News's 3.6. NY Thread also leads on ads (none vs shown). AJC News's advantage is chart position (#74 vs unranked) and ratings volume (16 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AJC News sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and NY Thread sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
