# Morse Elmer vs Morse eMail

The clearest difference is monetization model: Morse Elmer at free against Morse eMail's paid. Morse Elmer also leads on review sentiment (81% vs 50%) and ratings volume (192 vs 1). Morse eMail's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and chart position (#180 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Morse Elmer costs $0.99 and Morse eMail $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Morse eMail holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Morse Elmer has 192 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Morse Elmer's written reviews are positive against 50% of Morse eMail's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
