# Ions vs Flasia

The clearest difference is rating: Flasia at 4.6 against Ions's 3.8. Flasia also leads on ratings volume (142 vs 13) and device support (3 vs 1). Ions's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flasia holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flasia has 142 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Ions's written reviews are positive against 76% of Flasia's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
