# Vakko vs Beymen

Vakko and Beymen both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 72% of Vakko's written reviews are positive against 33% of Beymen's. Vakko also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). Beymen's advantage is ratings volume (587 vs 76). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Vakko against 4.8 for Beymen. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beymen has 587 ratings behind it against 76, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 72% of Vakko's written reviews are positive against 33% of Beymen's.

Vakko ships an update every 10 days, Beymen fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
