# az vs tchop

The clearest difference is ads: tchop at none against az's shown. tchop also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). az's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

az ships an update monthly, tchop every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
