# Timer Auto Camera vs Selfie Stick

The clearest difference is rating: Timer Auto Camera at 4.7 against Selfie Stick's 3.7. Timer Auto Camera also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months). Selfie Stick's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (71% vs 54%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer Auto Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Selfie Stick sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timer Auto Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timer Auto Camera has 1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Timer Auto Camera's written reviews are positive against 71% of Selfie Stick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Timer Auto Camera ships an update every 2 months, Selfie Stick every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
