# Timer Auto Camera vs PIP Magic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PIP Magic at 86% against Timer Auto Camera's 54%. PIP Magic also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Timer Auto Camera's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer Auto Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PIP Magic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timer Auto Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1K and 1.8K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Timer Auto Camera's written reviews are positive against 86% of PIP Magic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
