# OHub Campfire vs Moultrie

The clearest difference is rating: Moultrie at 4.6 against OHub Campfire's 3.6. Moultrie also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (42K vs 45). OHub Campfire's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Moultrie sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. OHub Campfire asks for nothing beyond the download.

Moultrie holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Moultrie has 42K ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of OHub Campfire's written reviews are positive against 70% of Moultrie's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OHub Campfire ships an update every 4 months, Moultrie every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
