# Main vs Dein Amtsblatt

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Dein Amtsblatt at none against Main's 12. Main's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Main sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Dein Amtsblatt asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Main against 5.0 for Dein Amtsblatt. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Main has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Main ships an update every 5 months, Dein Amtsblatt every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
