# Trollolol vs Rage Comics

The clearest difference is rating: Trollolol at 4.5 against Rage Comics's 3.5. Trollolol also leads on ratings volume (497 vs 65). Rage Comics's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trollolol sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Rage Comics asks for nothing beyond the download.

Trollolol holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trollolol has 497 ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Trollolol's written reviews are positive against 83% of Rage Comics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and July 8, 2026 respectively.
