# Files n Folders vs iTransfer

The clearest difference is rating: iTransfer at 4.1 against Files n Folders's 3.3. iTransfer also leads on review sentiment (52% vs 28%) and ratings volume (215 vs 7). Files n Folders's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Files n Folders sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and iTransfer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
