# 中国联通 vs Ham

The clearest difference is rating: Ham at 5.0 against 中国联通's 2.5. 中国联通's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 5) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ham holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 中国联通 has 1.3K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

中国联通 ships an update every 3 weeks, Ham every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
