# 中国联通 vs Good Maps

The clearest difference is rating: Good Maps at 3.7 against 中国联通's 2.5. Good Maps also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). 中国联通's advantage is review sentiment (37% vs 0%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Good Maps holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 中国联通 has 1.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of 中国联通's written reviews are positive against 0% of Good Maps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

中国联通 ships an update every 3 weeks, Good Maps weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
