# hmvod vs myTV SUPER

The clearest difference is rating: hmvod at 3.0 against myTV SUPER's 2.1. hmvod also leads on ads (none vs shown). myTV SUPER's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (16% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. hmvod sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and myTV SUPER sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

hmvod holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myTV SUPER has 23 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of hmvod's written reviews are positive against 16% of myTV SUPER's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

hmvod ships an update every 4 weeks, myTV SUPER every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
