# connect Magazin vs Apfelpage

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Apfelpage at none against connect Magazin's 18. Apfelpage also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). connect Magazin's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. connect Magazin sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $25.49 per 6 months. Apfelpage asks for nothing beyond the download.

connect Magazin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Apfelpage has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of connect Magazin's written reviews are positive against 62% of Apfelpage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

connect Magazin ships an update every 7 months, Apfelpage monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
