# Trip Splitter Lite vs GlobeTips

The clearest difference is ads: Trip Splitter Lite at none against GlobeTips's shown. Trip Splitter Lite also leads on review sentiment (87% vs 78%). GlobeTips's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (664 vs 23). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trip Splitter Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and GlobeTips sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GlobeTips holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GlobeTips has 664 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Trip Splitter Lite's written reviews are positive against 78% of GlobeTips's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trip Splitter Lite ships an update every 3 months, GlobeTips every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
