# Birthday Countdown ‎ vs ISPA

The clearest difference is rating: ISPA at 5.0 against Birthday Countdown ‎'s 4.4. ISPA also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). Birthday Countdown ‎'s advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Birthday Countdown ‎ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months. ISPA asks for nothing beyond the download.

ISPA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Birthday Countdown ‎ has 2.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
