# aHomeIcon vs TesScreen

The clearest difference is rating: TesScreen at 5.0 against aHomeIcon's 4.3. TesScreen also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription). aHomeIcon's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 50%) and ratings volume (28 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TesScreen holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: aHomeIcon has 28 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of aHomeIcon's written reviews are positive against 50% of TesScreen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

aHomeIcon ships an update every 2 months, TesScreen every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
