# GMX vs Yandex Mail

GMX and Yandex Mail both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 77% of GMX's written reviews are positive against 47% of Yandex Mail's. On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GMX sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Yandex Mail sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for GMX against 4.7 for Yandex Mail. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 17K and 16K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of GMX's written reviews are positive against 47% of Yandex Mail's.

GMX ships an update fortnightly, Yandex Mail every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
