# GMX vs Vitel Wireless Command

The clearest difference is rating: GMX at 4.7 against Vitel Wireless Command's 3.0. GMX also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Vitel Wireless Command's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 19) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GMX sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Vitel Wireless Command asks for nothing beyond the download.

GMX holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GMX has 17K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of GMX's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vitel Wireless Command's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GMX ships an update fortnightly, Vitel Wireless Command every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
