# GMX vs SnipSnapp

The clearest difference is ads: SnipSnapp at none against GMX's shown. SnipSnapp also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GMX sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and SnipSnapp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GMX ships an update fortnightly, SnipSnapp every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
