# Talking Carl vs Talking Paul

The clearest difference is price: Talking Paul at Free against Talking Carl's $0.99. Talking Paul also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 71%). Talking Carl's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (765 vs 59). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Talking Paul is free to download; Talking Carl costs $0.99 up front. Talking Carl sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Talking Paul sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talking Carl holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1.
