# MPL Mobile vs VPL Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: VPL Mobile at 3.9 against MPL Mobile's 2.9. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VPL Mobile holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 32 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of MPL Mobile's written reviews are positive against 47% of VPL Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
