# Q vs Iru

The clearest difference is rating: Iru at 4.2 against Q's 3.0. Iru also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Q's advantage is ratings volume (56 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Iru holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Q has 56 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Q ships an update every 3 months, Iru every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
