# Q vs ProRemote

The clearest difference is update cadence: ProRemote at every 2 days against Q's every 3 months. Q's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Q ships an update every 3 months, ProRemote every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
