# MultiMines vs Minesweeper

The clearest difference is update cadence: MultiMines at every 7 months against Minesweeper's every 37 months. MultiMines also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MultiMines sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Minesweeper sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MultiMines ships an update every 7 months, Minesweeper every 37 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
