# minika vs Sensical

The clearest difference is monetization model: minika at free against Sensical's free with in-app purchases. minika also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). Sensical's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (173 vs 19). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for minika against 4.3 for Sensical. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sensical has 173 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of minika's written reviews are positive against 59% of Sensical's.

minika ships an update every 6 months, Sensical monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
