# Timelapse Helper vs Timelapse by ReeLapse

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Timelapse Helper at 83% against Timelapse by ReeLapse's 26%. Timelapse Helper also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). Timelapse by ReeLapse's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and rating (3.9 vs 3.5). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timelapse by ReeLapse sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per year. Timelapse Helper asks for nothing beyond the download.

Timelapse by ReeLapse holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timelapse by ReeLapse has 127 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Timelapse Helper's written reviews are positive against 26% of Timelapse by ReeLapse's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
