# Unit Converter vs WanderTrek

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WanderTrek at none against Unit Converter's 12. WanderTrek also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Unit Converter's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.2). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unit Converter sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. WanderTrek asks for nothing beyond the download.

WanderTrek holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unit Converter has 14K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
