# Student Timetable vs Pineapple

The clearest difference is rating: Student Timetable at 4.2 against Pineapple's 1.0. Student Timetable also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (25 vs 1). Pineapple's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and review sentiment (50% vs 35%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Student Timetable sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Pineapple sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Student Timetable holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Student Timetable has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Student Timetable's written reviews are positive against 50% of Pineapple's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Student Timetable ships an update every 4 weeks, Pineapple weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 16, 2026 respectively.
