# Snow vs Yr

The clearest difference is rating: Snow at 4.9 against Yr's 4.3. Snow also leads on ratings volume (998 vs 203). Yr's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (61% vs 47%). On price, update cadence, ads and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snow sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Yr asks for nothing beyond the download.

Snow holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 998 and 203 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Snow's written reviews are positive against 61% of Yr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
