# Fun Bubbles Lite vs Doodle Words

The clearest difference is rating: Doodle Words at 5.0 against Fun Bubbles Lite's 3.2. Doodle Words also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). Fun Bubbles Lite's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (88% vs 57%). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Doodle Words sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Fun Bubbles Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Doodle Words holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fun Bubbles Lite has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Fun Bubbles Lite's written reviews are positive against 57% of Doodle Words's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fun Bubbles Lite ships an update every 3 months, Doodle Words every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
