# DreamTV for iPad vs IPTV Streamer

The clearest difference is rating: IPTV Streamer at 4.5 against DreamTV for iPad's 2.8. IPTV Streamer also leads on ratings volume (3.8K vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). DreamTV for iPad's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Streamer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. DreamTV for iPad asks for nothing beyond the download.

IPTV Streamer holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Streamer has 3.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of DreamTV for iPad's written reviews are positive against 43% of IPTV Streamer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DreamTV for iPad ships an update every 3 months, IPTV Streamer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
