# Cinemex vs Dilemma

The clearest difference is rating: Dilemma at 5.0 against Cinemex's 2.8. Dilemma also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Cinemex's advantage is ratings volume (424 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dilemma holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cinemex has 424 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cinemex ships an update every 3 weeks, Dilemma weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
