# Boligsøger vs dao

The clearest difference is update cadence: dao at every 3 weeks against Boligsøger's every 2 months. Boligsøger's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Boligsøger against 4.2 for dao. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boligsøger has 26 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Boligsøger ships an update every 2 months, dao every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
