# Kicker U vs Counteract Balancing

The clearest difference is price: Counteract Balancing at Free against Kicker U's $3.99. Counteract Balancing also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 43%). Kicker U's advantage is rating (2.3 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Counteract Balancing is free to download; Kicker U costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kicker U holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kicker U has 50 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Kicker U's written reviews are positive against 67% of Counteract Balancing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kicker U ships an update every 3 weeks, Counteract Balancing every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
