# Preposition Remix vs Splat

The clearest difference is price: Splat at $4.99 against Preposition Remix's $24.99. Splat also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). Preposition Remix's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Preposition Remix costs $24.99 and Splat $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Splat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Preposition Remix has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Preposition Remix's written reviews are positive against 75% of Splat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Preposition Remix ships an update every 13 months, Splat every 26 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
