# Coverage? Lite vs Covered

The clearest difference is rating: Coverage? Lite at 4.1 against Covered's 3.0. Coverage? Lite also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 46 months). Covered's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coverage? Lite sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year and Covered sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coverage? Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 112 and 46 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Coverage? Lite's written reviews are positive against 35% of Covered's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Coverage? Lite ships an update every 5 months, Covered every 46 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
