# GoCanvas vs DynoForms

The clearest difference is rating: GoCanvas at 4.7 against DynoForms's 3.7. GoCanvas also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 3). DynoForms's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoCanvas sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. DynoForms asks for nothing beyond the download.

GoCanvas holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoCanvas has 1.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of GoCanvas's written reviews are positive against 67% of DynoForms's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GoCanvas ships an update fortnightly, DynoForms every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
