# GoCanvas vs EMS.Inventory

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EMS.Inventory at none against GoCanvas's 3. EMS.Inventory also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). GoCanvas's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoCanvas sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. EMS.Inventory asks for nothing beyond the download.

EMS.Inventory holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoCanvas has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GoCanvas ships an update fortnightly, EMS.Inventory monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
