# Valor vs JC

The clearest difference is rating: JC at 4.0 against Valor's 1.2. JC also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Valor's advantage is ratings volume (20 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.4). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Valor sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. JC asks for nothing beyond the download.

JC holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Valor has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of Valor's written reviews are positive against 0% of JC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Valor ships an update every 2 months, JC monthly. Both last shipped on September 30, 2026.
